We are looking to target individuals that have the potential to make a significant contribution to Scotland's future. Entry onto the programme will be highly competitive and candidates will be selected via a rigorous, robust and competency-based screening process, ensuring that only the highest calibre candidates enter onto the programme. The intake for the 2010 cohort will be 20 candidates.

Candidates should be able to display the following characteristics:

Proven track record of achievement.
Awareness of the challenges involved in building a successful company.
Strategic thinking.
Positive attitude to risk
Ambition
Ability to make a yea long commitment to the programme
A desire to work in Scotland
