Project Activities and Key Roles

Work on expense management projects as assigned by Director of Expense Analytics. This includes:

Reviewing entries in the General Ledger
Analysis of data to understand trends/patterns
Verify saves once completed

Required Skills and Abilites

Able to listen effectively.
Not afraid to ask questions to clarify understanding.
Work on their own and part of a team.
Good time management.

Essential Attributes

Management Accounting.
Common sense, analytical, inquisitive mind.
Microsoft Excel.

Desirable Attributes

Knowledge of basic accounting.
Familiar with the concepts of budgets and forecasts.
An interest in banking & finance.
Familiar with MS Powerpoint.

Additional Information

The APAC Expense Management team has a mandate of reducing expenses across the bank in the region.

The team is currently split across two disciplines:

Expense Efficiency – Focused on identifying savings initiatives and leading/driving forward
Expense Analytics – Responsible for producing expense analytics to facilitate transparency and ultimately reduce expenses
