Project Activities and Key Roles

Development of key algorithms important in emerging technology areas such as cloud computing and cloud storage. Examples include hashing algorithms (such as SHA-1), compression algorithms (such as LZW) and cryptographic algorithms (such as AES-128). Each is important for integrity, data reduction, and data protection and will be useful across a number of projects and technologies across Emulex.

Required Skills and Abilites

Ideal candidate is inquisitive and self-disciplined, and able to work in both team-environments and on isolated projects.
Must be able to communicate clearly and adapt to changing assignments and/or requirements.

Essential Attributes

Relevant Discipline: Computer Science / Mathematics.
Software Development, C language, algorithm development.

Desirable Attributes

Experience developing software with Linux.
Experience in the C language with GCC.
Interest in algorithm development.
