Project Activities and Key Roles

Development of software important to Emulex in numerous emerging markets. Responsible for Linux application and driver development in a key set of initiatives including platform technologies, security, and virtualized (cloud) infrastructures.

Required Skills and Abilites

Ideal candidate is inquisitive and self-disciplined, and able to work in both team-environments and on isolated projects;
Must be able to communicate clearly and adapt to changing assignments and/or requirements.

Essential Attributes

Discipline/Area of Study: Computer Science / Software Development;
Software Development, Linux, device drivers, C language.

Desirable Attributes

Experience developing, or modifying code within the Linux kernel;
Knowledge of the Linux SCSI subsystem.
