Project Activities and Key Roles

Genzyme student assignments offer exposure to a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our students work side by side biotechnology industry professionals, providing an opportunity to make an impact in the lives of patients around the globe.

The qualified individual will join the Quality Control Microbiology Group located in Framingham, MA. This group is responsible for the monitoring of the Manufacturing facilities for air and water quality, testing of in-process and final product of several product lines for Quality Assurance release.

Job responsibilities include:
Environmental monitoring and critical utility testing to support manufacturing and validation activities.
Perform routine laboratory responsibilities.

Essential Attributes

The candidate should be able to operate basic laboratory equipment and perform standardized testing procedures in accordance with GMP. The candidate should be able to follow verbal instruction and written procedures and possess strong communication and computer skills. Also, the person should be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Desirable Attributes

Microbiology or Biological Sciences.
