2012 Scholars Edinburgh Alumni Event

The 2012 Edinburgh Alumni Scholars organised their first social event which was hosted last night.

The small get together enabled the Scholars to update each other on what they had been doing over the last few weeks of their placement. Now in their 6^th week the general consensus was that they couldn't believe how fast the experience had been.

2008 Scholar Iain Wilcox joined the Alums and shared his internship experiences before explaining to the students how his placement had helped him refocus what he wanted to do after he left university. In the last couple of years he has gone on to co-found his own successful company Digitonic and remains actively involved with the Saltire Foundation Alumni community.

The next Scholar event is an interactive workshop with Mark Beaumont which will be held at the beginning of August in Dundee.
