Saltire Foundation Golf Day

The Saltire Foundation is excited to announce its first annual Golf Day and we would be honoured if you would consider joining us for this exclusive event. The Golf Day will be held at the stunning 5-star world-renowned resort of Gleneagles and you will have the opportunity both to play the PGA Centenary Course, and to enjoy many of the other outstanding facilities at the resort.

The PGA Centenary course, which will be host to the 2014 Ryder Cup, was created by legendary Jack Nicklaus, who described the course as "The finest parcel of land in the world I have ever been given to work with". With spectacular views of the Perthshire valley, the rugged Grampian Mountains and the Trossachs hills, Gleneagles is only one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

We do not want any of our supporters to miss out on this fantastic opportunity so we have created a number of great packages to fit all levels of sponsorship. There are also opportunities for individuals to register. They include:

A round of golf for four on the PGA Centenary Course.

Catering on arrival at the clubhouse.

Access to practice facilities.

A Gala Dinner in the Glendevon Suite in the Gleneagles Hotel.

A high quality Goodie Bag.

A chance to win superb prizes.

On-site and On-line branding opportunities, speaking to a wide and influential audience.

The Saltire Foundation has been described as "one of the most exciting, groundbreaking programs in the world today" and is now fully independent of Scottish Enterprise. For 2012, we have reduced the annual running costs by 30% and hope to support 30% more Scholars and twice the number of Fellows.

In previous years we have been 100% reliant on philanthropy and grants, but now we intend to raise half of our funding in the form of revenue as part of our plan to create a sustainable future for the Saltire Foundation.

We hope you can support our funding efforts by putting together a team and coming out and joining us for a day of fellowship and golf.
