An 'Entrepreneurial Exchange'

There could be no better way to mark our arrival at the Hunter Centre at Strathclyde Business School last Tuesday than with a fantastic Alumni event led by John Anderson, CEO of Entrepreneurial Exchange (http://www.entrepreneurial-exchange.co.uk). John joined Scholars, Fellows and the Saltire Team to speak about the dynamic and exciting entrepreneurial landscape in Scotland.

From shortbread to high tech media, John answered questions and gave a positive appraisal of the business opportunities in Scotland. In particular, he provided young entrepreneur and Scholar, Iain Wilcox with sound advice and addressed his concerns about the funding available for young businesses.

Thanks go to John Anderson and Alumni for making the evening a huge success and we would also like to thank staff at Strathclyde Business School for the warm welcome received. The Saltire Foundation will also have a presence at the University of Edinburgh Business School. The Saltire Team will work from the Hunter Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays, maintaining our presence across Scotland the remainder of the week.
