It has been some time since I last wrote my blog and since we are nearing the end of our stay here in Boston I thought I had better get on and write something. In order to thank the sponsoring companies in Boston and to welcome the Boston Saltire interns we had a BBQ on Friday night with the rest of the Saltire fellows in Boston.  It was a really lovely night and in general the rain stayed off which was great. What was so nice to see were these young bright motivated people full of eager anticipation for the summer ahead and equally the response from the sponsors eager to talk to and hear the future ambitions of the interns.

Having been here for nearly 7 months now I can understand why.  The community in Boston regardless of industry is just as bright and motivated and has the power to inspire and spur people on their way to new beginnings whether that be new jobs, geography or a business. I truly hope that when we all return to Scotland and in the years ahead we too can keep this motivational open culture and in so doing inspire and give the capacity to  people to achieve great things. In many respects it is sad that our time is coming to an end here but we have learned that the possibilities for us going home to Scotland our endless and now we have the skills and knowledge along with our passion to deliver something truly great for the future.  What exciting time’s lie ahead of us……..
