Leaving again!

It's been great to be home.

The week has been a whirlwind of visiting friends, catching up on little jobs around the house, getting the car back on the road (brakes and rear wiper siezed) and generally getting back into home life.  It helps that this is the first weekend of the Festival Fringe, a time when we usually see lots of shows and catch up with friends over a few beers.  People who have moved away from Edinburgh tend to congregate back in the city this weekend, which is great for me.

After a week off, I'm looking forward to the next two weeks at Stirling University Management School, with many of our professors from Boston coming over to spend time with us.  Obviously it is not ideal to be away from home again so soon after returning, but I am really looking forward to spending time thinking and talking about business and entrepreneurship in the Scottish context after all this time spent in the Boston and Silicon Valley communities.  It's going to be great to meet up with the rest of the group again too!

I'm also really looking forward to my next Externship, living at home and working in Edinburgh.  It will be a novelty for me to work in the city centre, something I haven't ever done!
