The one thing you can't do in Boston

This weeks blog finds me back home in Scotland - Scotland yes, home -  sort of..!

After experiencing first hand how Merger/Integrations can go horribly wrong (thanks Delta/Northwest) I flew in 1-day later than anticipated...!  Said a quick hello to the family, before heading up to deepest Perthshire for something I've dearly missed over these past 7-months - fishing on the Tay & Isla - two of Scotland's finest rivers.  Yes the Charles is majestic as it runs through the city of Boston - but a river isn't a river without the king of fish - SALMON....

This was a trip I couldn't miss out.  Staying as an invited guest with friends at the majestic Meikleour house, a huge victorian sporting lodge complete with turrets, sweeping lawns and views down to the river.  Yes it's a great place to stay, but it was the craic with old business friends and the fishing that we really came for.  And both the craic and the fishing were "mighty" as they say.  A chance to talk about our experiences, business opportunities, cricket, politics, drink the list goes on and on.

And the fishing...?  Well let's just say that's why it's called "fishing" and not "catching."

Just as in business failing doesn't mean your a failure - just that you haven't been successful - YET...
