The two weeks at Stirling University passed very quickly, and I can only echo the comments of others that it was great to have so many interesting and influential people from the Scottish business community coming to speak to us. I spent the "week off" before we went to Stirling seeing family and friends and sorting out house and car problems that arose while I was away. I initially had ideas that the week after Stirling would be a "break", but in the end it was pretty full of meetings with my contacts to try to find out as much as I could about what was going on in Scotland. The only "break" I got was a couple of days diving off the Isle of Skye, where I was extremely lucky to survive a shark attack (technically the "shark" was a dogfish only a few feet long and it didn't represent much of a threat, but I don't intend to let that stand in the way of a good story).
I'm now three days into my second executive internship, this one with ATEEDA in Edinburgh. The project I am working on is extremely interesting and is not without it's challenges, but it's great to be putting some of the things I learned from the Babson professors and others into practice in the Scottish context. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get all the market data I need...
When you figure out how to get all the market data make sure to give me a shout !!
I mentioned in my last blog post that part of my project involved trying to obtain good quality market
