Running not walking

There is so much I want to do, I have to remind myself to take a breath!

Sword Ciboodle, my Externship company, has been awesome.  I never thought software development could be quite so invigorating!  There is lots to absorb and it's been great learning about the growth of this successful company. I am working on new product development and it's been exciting finding new ways to leverage existing capabilities. Asking lots of questions and seeking new opportunities for this Externship has also sparked off my brain for my post fellowship plans as well.

I had the opportunity to attend the Scottish Food and Drink awards which were inspiring.  Salmon and whisky were represented but so was salad, beer and chocolate! The sheer variety of food and drink being produced here is quite exciting and the calibre of companies up for awards were a great reminder of the ever growing number of entrepreneurs in Scotland.

The Saltire Sirens (the five ladies of this year's Fellowship) are busy organising events for the Saltire Fundraising Challenge. We are pooling our collective skills and with the support of a few Scholars and last year's Fellows hope to be the champion fundraisers at the Aluminate dinner in September.

More people to meet, more opportunities to spot - better get back to it!
