What an absolute epic journey in externship B so far. An entrepreneur’s journey never ends but continues to grow arm and legs. In the final stint of the fellows’ journey we have all been juggling our placement, an energy project, a fundraising project and balancing it with family and friends as well as the all important networking, and this is not even the beginning, it’s a snapshot of what is to come. All I can say is bring it on!
The next few weeks working with Neil MacMartin and FreeFlow will be very exciting and I cannot wait to blog about it, but patience is a virtue and all good comes to those who wait and ask in equal measure. The entrepreneurial exchange annual meeting at Gleneagles was brilliant, thanks to John Anderson for giving us the opportunity to attend.
With regards to the Saltire Sirens and our fundraising challenge, we have an absolute ‘belter’ of a panel and venue coming up in September, for which we will be releasing information very soon. In the meantime Saltire Sirens are hosting an event in Edinburgh at The Voodoo Rooms on the 9th of July, tickets can be bought here, all welcome. For now feel free to sing along…
“…Risin' up, straight to the top, have the guts, got the glory, went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop, just a man and his will to survive…!”
Really looking forward to hearing about your work with Neil MacMarting and FreeFlow over the next few weeks! I'll be singing that song for the rest of the day.
