And that, if you replace Exxon with CITGO, is exactly what we did last night before being treated to a fantastic evening at Fenway Park courtesy Of Helen Sayles. Although the Red Sox lost the game it was an outstanding experience and one which was enjoyed by all. 

On Saturday night, and this is the real reason for the title, I visited the Comcast centre in Mansfield, MA, to see a concert by Bruce Springsteen and the Legendary E-Street band (that's what it said on the ticket.) As it was, Legendary doesn't do them justice, I don't know how they still do it as time progresses but they do, and it was easily the most impressive live event which I have ever attended and being part of a crowd of 30,000 singing the opening verse of ‘Hungry Heart’ is an experience I shall remember forever.

I am very conscious of the fact we only have 9 work days left and that I have a deliverable of researched and categorised leads to hand to my boss. I am also very aware from previous mistakes that it often takes longer to wrap up all of the loose ends than is expected. For this reason I have been working very hard with the aim of finishing the project for the end of this week.

It’s a scary prospect that when the rubber meets the runway in Glasgow a week on Sunday many of the major graduate recruiters will have begun their 2010 schemes.  One thing is for certain though; this experience has been the best preparation that anyone could wish for as they begin that journey.
