Monday at MX was a busy day as Katrina was getting ready to leave for business and I would not see her again before leaving LA so we had a final farewell before she was picked up for the airport.

As MX lost one member of staff they gained another in David Patton who would be taking over from me once I have departed, so today was spent training David up and handing over my work to him so that he could keep on top of what there is to do.

We used Monday to get to know each other and introduce ourselves over lunch outside in the sun just like I had when I first arrived at MX.

At North Highland Ted Garcia returned from his two week trip to China, with the 15 hour time difference he was suffering from jet lag. Ted had work to send off to China so I helped him work on some presentation work that he had to prepare for sending back to China where they would translate it for the Chinese partners.

Each day Christine Lau and I had our daily report at 4pm to discuss how I was getting on with what I was working on and allowed us to discuss how to go forward with the work or if anything had to be changed then at the start of the week and start of each day we would set our goals.

This week I continued to work on the media training guide when I had some time between China projects to finalize my copy to be finished by Christine. It was great to have Christine as my mentor as she always devoted time to my projects and helped me through any learning to improve my work.

During the week I attended a launch event of Lindsay Lohan’s clothing line at a boutique in Hollywood with a friend Cole who I was introduced to through Ted at North Highland and was accompanied by some friends I met in LA.

Fashionably late…Miss Lohan arrived 2 hours late but it was worth the wait and it was another eventful and fun night in LA.

This weekend some friends are visiting from San Diego so it will be fun to hear their stories and get some days out in LA over the weekend before I begin my final week of my internship….
