It's been a while since this has been updated but there has been much change in my life. Just a few points:
1. Holy moly, final year, two weeks left, then i'll be leaving St Andrews! It's a scary thought to have the comfort of student life taken away!
2. I do have a job with a marketing and strategy consultancy down in London, and i'll be starting in October 4th. It's a company based about 10 minutes from where I used to live in Cologne, and I used to pass the offices on my way into work. Only just found that out after talking with them down in London during the interview!
3. I will hopefully be mentoring some of the new intake, it's going to be interesting to see what exactly each one of them gets up to!
So that's been it in short! It's an interesting thought that one year ago I had just confirmed my internship and was wondering what life in Germany would be like! I'd imagine the same feeling would occur to the new interns. I can definately say that my internship in Germany was one of the most interesting and rewarding experiences in my life! However don't take it for granted; put in those extra hours, network like crazy, and generally learn as much as you can on the internship! Most of all, best of luck to the new interns and I look forward to reading your blogs and hopefully giving some of you sound advice!
