Was nice to meet all the new interns last week- looks like you're all a great bunch!

I know all the information might have been a little overwhelming so I thought I'd recap on our blogging guidelines...

A blog is designed to capture your thoughts, feelings and experiences online. Think of it as a journal- but remember the world is watching!

You're asked to keep a blog (minimum one post a week) to keep us up to date with your internship experiences. If you like, pass the link to your family, friends and GlobalScot to allow them to follow you too.

Content:

• Day to day work- what is your project? How does that live up to your expectations? Have you been given the opportunity to do any other bits and bobs?
• Personal and professional development- how are you benefitting from your experience? What skills are you improving?
• Networking- have you met any interesting people?
• Place- what makes your city/country so great!? What are the best bits?
• Weekends- have you done anything exciting you'd like to share?

Important points to remember:

• Please update your profiles ASAP with relevant information and a picture
• Respect your host company's confidentiality
• Do NOT post anything inappropriate- e.g. alcohol related etc.
