Hi,

Thought I would give a quick update to my blog. I've just arrived in Shanghai and am currently waiting for my connecting flight to Shenzhen. Met up with a few other interns (Andy & Craig - DHL, Tokyo) along with my fellow IBM intern based in Shanghai (Lindsay) at Glasgow Airport. Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to give a proper farewell to the DHL bunch but managed to endure the mammoth slog over to China with Lindsay in one piece along with my bag which was a relief. Me and Lindsay have now went our separate ways and I'm trying my best to pass the time at the check in desk. I managed to text the chap who is dealing with my apartment to let him know what time I'll arrive in Shenzhen and got a pretty swift reply so things are beginning to look hopeful, though I've just realised my travel adaptor only seems to want to work in USA/AUS/NZ so I fear my laptop will soon run out of juice. Surely if I have an IT/electrical based problem IBM should be able to sort it out pretty swiftly. In an effort to conserve battery power I'm going to call it a day on this issue of IBM weekly but keep your eyes peeled for updates soon.
