Hi everyone, just been reading the experiences of the 2010 interns - wish it was me all over again!

2-years later I am still reaping the benefits from my Saltire experience and the contacts I’ve made. I am about to begin a marketing graduate scheme with Sky in London after competing against 1,200 others for 1of 6 positions. Across all graduate schemes in the UK, there seems to be less places and more competition, so I consider myself lucky to be able to prove to employers my abilities and stand out from the crowd.

Over the last 2-years I have graduated with my honours degree, and worked in a Scottish marketing agency to advance my skills. I see the Saltire Foundation as being a base of experience which I will carry with me and continue to develop my whole life.

Before starting at Sky, I’ve been putting my summer to good use, travelling to Rome, Florence, Sienna, St Moritz, Salzburg, Budapest, Krakow, Berlin and Antwerp by train! It’s satisfied my travel bug for now but I'm looking forward to doing a tour of Scotland next year!

My office will be based in Isleworth in West London, so at the moment I’m just planning the big move… will keep you posted on how it goes!
