Happy Swiss National Day from Basel!
It's now the end of week three and I've had another great week. The beginning of this week saw me preparing the work I had done so far, so that I would be able to present it to the rest of my project team. Project meetings were held in a hotel in the other side of Basel (Grosse Basel) and it has been great to work in yet another type of environment. We had lunch at the hotel on Monday and then in the afternoon presented what we had been working on. The team then gave lots of feedback as to what I should change or improve and what areas they would like further infomation on. This was then the basis of my work for the rest of the week. I contacted the relevant people, requesting the further information required and developed the existing items. I also started working on a presentation I am going to be making on Tuesday about what I have learned so far.
Last Sunday, I went to Bern, the capital of Switzerland. It is a really lovely place and I had a great day there. I visited Einstein's apartment, went to the Bear Pits and enjoyed relaxing by the river. Today is Swiss National Day and last night in Basel I went to a huge fireworks display over the Rhine. The city was really busy and there were stalls and live music everywhere.
Can't believe Week 4 starts tomorrow! Have another good week everyone!
