This week I have been continuing with the tasks I was set in week one. My days are structured with meetings during the first part of the day, after which I'm left to continue with my set tasks. The 9 am meeting is a technical meeting to measure the progress of current engine overhaul jobs. Representatives from each of the repair processes are present to touch base and to alert other departments with any problems. Straight after this meeting there is another meeting solely concerning the customer business department. When the meetings come to an end I focus on my personal tasks, which is currently designing a magazine for the company to use at corporate events. The content used to compile the magazine gives me a further insight to the business as a whole.I also got a chance to visit the “Test Cell” which is where the engines are tested at the start and the end of the overhaul process. I found this to be beneficial as I got to see what was often spoke about in the meetings. On Friday I attended a business lunch, despite previously going for a business dinner I was intrigued by this business lunch as it showed me a different stage in building up customer relations. The business dinner showed me how customer relationships are maintained where as this lunch gave me an insight into the very beginning of the business relationship. Besides work, on Thursday I went to a drum corps competition with my fellow interns and a colleague from work. This was a great experience, as I had never attended such an event. Furthermore a great atmosphere was created by the support from the crowd.
You're a real deep tnhkier. Thanks for sharing.
