Bio
I recently graduated from University of Strathclyde with a 1st Class Honours degree in Accounting. In 2009 I completed a business placement with BAE Systems, Regional Aircraft Division, based in Hatfield and Washington DC. The amazing experience I gained from working with BAE Systems resulted in my desire to start a career with them. I was successfully offered a position on their prestigious Finance Leadership Development Programme, which is a graduate placement designed to develop finance and management skills simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
The opportunities the Saltire Foundation offer students remains to be unlike anything else I have heard of, and something I am so grateful for. This year I have continued to support the Saltire Foundation in any way I can; from attending meetings and events to assisting with the recruitment process. Through these activities I have not only been able to support this amazing charity but additionally I been able to further my own development. As I enter the professional world and continue to capitalise on what skills I have learnt, I will ensure my involvement with the Saltire Foundations remains.
