Grant Munro

Hello there, I am Grant and this is a little bit about me!

I am graduating from the University of Glasgow this summer with a BSc in Earth Science (Geology). In the coming academic year I am moving through to our capital to study a MSc in Carbon Capture and Storage; an emerging technology that will hopefully see growth in the near future as the global community becomes increasingly carbon conscious.

In the summer of 2008 I worked with The Wood Group in Houma LA, and Houston TX; I thoroughly enjoyed my internship and met some fantastic and inspirational people who have helped me choose a career path that will hopefully get a good kick start with a postgraduate qualification.

Out with University I work with a charity (JIGSAW) that supports disabled children in my local community of Helensburgh. I have done this for 5 years but will unfortunately have to give this up when I move through to Edinburgh; however I do hope to do some fundraising in the future to keep my connection with the charity.
