The eldest of three children, I was born and raised just outside Glasgow. I studied at Glasgow University, receiving an MA(hons) in Economics. After graduation, I moved to London where I worked for Sutherland Consulting. During my time there I worked on behalf of Investment Banks on large scale change programs across many different areas of their businesses. I decided to apply to become a Saltire Fellow as the vision for the Foundation complemented my personal desire to become a future business leader in Scotland. I am passionate about people and motivating teams to achieve difficult outcomes. The Fellowship is sharpening my business toolkit for successes in the future as well as helping me form an understanding of how best to apply my talents going forward. The network of contacts and friends I have made during my time on the Fellowship will endure for many years, both in a business and personal context. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, skiing and football.
