More baseball, more food, and driving across the road; I'm essentially American
Hey y'all, And so I’m halfway through my 8th and final week working for Jabil. Beginning to utter my goodbyes has made me realize what great friends I've formed over the last two months. I've already promised two of the guys a tour of Edinburgh when they visit, as both have plans to come to Europe in the next year. They are yet to

One Dollar Hangovers and The Other Kind of Football
In America... Experience is more valuable than theory. It is possible to survive a theme park despite sleeping two hours the night before. You can see a film in the cinema for $1. They pause in the middle of sports games to tell you all of the players' bad habits and what they get up to in their spare time. Collaboration in work is essential; people

"Glad it's Monday tomorrow, only have to get up at 7.15am", or 'Tourism Taken Too Far.'
Hello! Safe to say I've strayed my pattern of sitting down and blogging at some point every Monday night.. but it's also safe to say this past week has been one of my busiest yet!! I didn't think it was possible to feel as tired as I was earlier this week, even the (obviously) favourite hobbies like blogging just had to go in favour of sleep

Dinner in the Desert lit by Giraffes on Fire.
Hello y'allll, and thanks for reading my blog! I'm just beginning my 5th week here in Florida, working for Jabil Circuit, and as you might have guessed by my rather cringe-worthy greeting I'm really feeling integrated and at home here now! It's a feeling I really had after leaving some great friends on Sunday evening following yet another

Florida: Flip-flop lickin' good!
Hola! SO, I have just begun my fourth week working at Jabil, and I fear time is slipping away ever so fast! The whole thing's been a blast so far, busy but loving it! This week has been a great one for really plunging into the depths of my current project (testing and implementing a new financial reporting tool), and with the roll-out of the program

Riding the Heat Wave
Hello Saltire universe! (I saw someone start their blog with that recently and I thought, stolen) For anyone who's not read any of my previous blogs, I'm Aidan and am working for Jabil Circuit here in Florida. I've had another great week here in Tampa and surrounding area, where I am feeling very much accustomed to life across here. Working

"Fancy going out for lunch today?" "AYE."
Hello blog readers, this is my second blog from sunny hot and sweaty Tampa, Florida, where I've just completed my first (and should probably be sleeping in preparation for my second) week working as a Finance Transformation Intern at Jabil Circuit. So... I feel like I've got through a lot in a week! I've come out of it with many a new friend

Peanut Butter Cheesecakes & Boy Scout Boulevard!
Hello blog readers! I'm Aidan, one of two interns invited out to work for Jabil at The Sunshine State here in Tampa. And barring the ridiculous thunderstorm we had on the day following our arrival, Florida has lived up to its reputation in sweaty style! Stacey and I arrived on Thursday night thoroughly worn out but nevertheless excited from our
